Gynaecological Cancers Campaign

Proportionally, more women die from gynaecological cancer than breast cancer.

Wellbeing of Women is committed to changing this shocking statistic and improving the survival rate of gynaecological cancers by running the 'Gynaecological Cancers Campaign'.

During the months of February and March we encourage women to follow the ‘Take Good Care of Yourself’ four-point health code throughout their lives.

"Take Good Care of Yourself" four-point health code:

1. Know your Norm
- be aware of any changes in your body like bleeding between periods or an abnormal discharge

2. Regularly attend routine screenings

3. Be aware of the symptoms of gynaecological cancers

4. Don’t be afraid – the earlier a cancer is found the easier it is to treat.

We have also produced an easy-to-read information booklet on gynaecological cancers. If you would like a free copy of 'Your Guide to Gynaecological Cancers' please email wellbeingofwomen@rcog.org.uk or phone 020 7772 6400.
