    Lesley Regan

    Professor Regan graduated from the Royal Free Hospital in 1980. Her first registrar post was at Addenbrookes Hospital, Cambridge where she became interested in the causes of miscarriage.

    She heads the Department of Obstetrics & Gynaecology and is Director of the Recurrent Miscarriage Service at St Mary’s Hospital, Imperial College and Visiting Professor at Harvard Centre of Excellence for Women’s Health. Her primary research interests encompass recurrent miscarriage and infertility.

    In 2005 she received a “Women of Achievement Award” for her outstanding contribution to medicine.

    Lesley has written two best sellers: Miscarriage –what every woman needs to know; published by Orion 2001.  Your Pregnancy Week by Week; published by Dorling Kindersley in 2005 has now been translated into seven languages.
