The value of predicting restriction of fetal growth and compromise of its wellbeing


If a baby's growth is restricted and its well-being is impaired in the womb the baby has a significant risk of disease, disability or death. At present there is a lack of precise evidence on how best to diagnose and predict such problems early enough in pregnancy. This research project will use scientific methods and strategies to review and appraise the existing evidence on diagnostic tests. As a result it will:
