5k (3.5 miles) run, jog or walk
In 2009 Around 50 women registered to run, jog or walk for WoW on 6th September and there was a great atmosphere with 17,000 participants in all making there way round the 5k course in Hyde Park. Our team had representatives from our network of branches, from the Royal College of Obstetricians (where we are based), from companies who support our work and from individuals, including some young girls and teenagers, we also had a number of the WoW office team taking part including our Comms Team Manager who walked the 5k in 5 inch heels, an evening dress, tiara and parasol! See photos here.
