Our wonderful WoW Team joined together with a team running for the Lord Mayor's Appeal to take part in the British 10k on Sunday 6th July.
Despite the occasional downpour they all had a good race. One our our runners had a particularly active weekend. She is Claire Jones, the Prince of Wales' official harpist. Having taken part in a workshop in Wales on the Saturday she and her family travelled up to London and Claire ran in the race and her mum came to cheer her on. Her family have been very involved in helping with the fundraising for the race. Whilst most people would be taking it easy the next day, Claire was due to play for HM The Queen and the Aga Khan at Buckingham Palace!
Wellbeing of Women thanks all those runners who took part, Claire, Bethan, Caroline, Elizabeth, Liza and Sally for WoW and also the team for the Lord Mayor's Appeal.
