Throughout the months of August and September we run our ‘Healthy Women Campaign’ to encourage women to listen to their bodies more closely and give them the confidence to seek help when they think something is wrong.
Every year, as part of the campaign we ask women about their reproductive health. In 2007 we discovered that over half of all women did not visit a doctor about a gynaecological health problem because they were simply too embarrassed.
We also produced a free information booklet that lists the most common female health problems along with hints on how to recognise them and what to do about them. If you would like a free copy of 'What every woman should know about their body' please email wellbeingofwomen@rcog.org.uk or phone 020 7772 6400.
There are many ways you can donate to Wellbeing of Women. Your donation will help us continue to fund research into all aspects of reproductive health.
