Jessica Hepburn is an author, arts producer and adventure activist inspiring people to live as big and bravely as possible whatever disappointments life has thrown at them. She has published two books (21 Miles and The Pursuit of Motherhood); was the Chief Executive of the Lyric Theatre Hammersmith for ten years before founding Fertility Fest, the first ever arts festival exploring modern family-making which will be at London’s Barbican in April/May 2019.
She is also dedicating this decade of her life to taking on some of the world’s most iconic endurance challenges for families without children and children without families. So far this has included running the London Marathon, swimming the English Channel and in 2020 she is set to climb Mount Everest and attempt to become the first woman to achieve the incredible ‘Pond to Peak’ challenge. In 2018 she was nominated as one of Amnesty International’s Women of Suffragette Spirit; ‘Woman of The Week’ in Stylist magazine and won the Fertility Foundation’s inaugural ‘Fertility Hero’ Award for her role as an infertility advocate.
