We are thrilled to reveal that leading membership organisation City Women Network (CWN) has chosen Wellbeing of Women as its 2020/21 charity partner.
Over the two-year period, Wellbeing of Women will work closely with CWN to bolster investment into women’s health.
CWN is one of the longest-standing women’s networks in the UK, striving to enrich the continuous personal and professional progression of its members through growth, learning and leadership.
Janet Lindsay, Chief Executive at Wellbeing of Women, said, “We are thrilled that Wellbeing of Women has been chosen as City Women Network’s 2020/2021 Charity Partner.
“We will be working together with CWN to increase investment into women’s health research and raise awareness of women’s health issues which are so often overlooked and underfunded.
“Investing in medical research is the only way we will find the breakthroughs that will save lives and improve treatment and care for women.
“Wellbeing of Women is funding a number of projects that will directly impact women’s health in the workplace, so we believe this partnership could not have come at a more opportune moment.”
Sally Todd, President of CWN, added: “CWN, along with its members, looks forward to working in partnership with Wellbeing of Women, and to contributing in a meaningful way towards their research.
“We were inspired by the advances in tests and treatments which can be traced back to their work.
“We hope that by working in partnership with Wellbeing of Women over a two-year period our membership, representing a diverse range of professions, sectors and backgrounds will be able to play a part in improving women’s health which is largely overlooked and underfunded.”
