Our joint funding call with the Scottish Government Chief Scientist Office (CSO) is now CLOSED

Our Wellbeing of Women/CSO Research Project Grants in Scotland round is now CLOSED.

Applicants to the 2020 round will be informed if their application is shortlisted for full external review by the end of April.

These awards jointly funded by Wellbeing of Women and the Scottish Government Chief Scientist Office (CSO) are for projects in laboratory, health and translational research in the areas of pregnancy, birth and the postpartum periodgeneral wellbeing surrounding women’s health issues; and gynaecological cancers.

Applications for joint funding must be from lead applicants with tenured posts at recognised Scottish Universities or NHS Boards. Named academic/clinical collaborators will be permitted from outside Scotland, but the lead applicant must be a salaried member of staff at a Scottish University or NHS Board.

The upper grant award limit for these grants is £200,000 in total over one to three years. The total amount available under the joint 2020 funding call for awards is £400,000.
