It was during lockdown in 2020 that Wellbeing of Women supporter Natasha Still launched ‘The Walking Women’ support and fundraising group, raising funds and breaking stigma around women's health issues.
This year she's helping us launch our biggest fundraising challenge yet, Miles for May!
She explains that “walking provided me with a routine and time to process some of the challenges I was dealing with, with my health. I wanted to increase awareness of female health conditions and take the taboo out of talking openly about how we are feeling”. Read Natasha's story here.
Join our May challenge and together lets normalise conversations about our health and wellbeing and raise vital funds for women's health.
There are two registration options:
1. Register: 6-8 May Walking Weekend
Join Natasha and her Walking Women on a set virtual event running from the 6th-8th May. Walk as much as you can over this weekend tracking your miles adding to the collective total. Walk with family and friends, every mile counts!
2. Register: Flexible month
Set your own walking challenge and complete it at any time in or throughout the month of May. Go for a walk with friends, family or colleagues and submit your miles to the total.
The suggested fundraising target is £150, anything you raise contributes to save and change the lives of women, girls and babies.
Registration is £15 and with that you’ll receive a t-shirt, fundraising pack and tips to get you walking and talking. We will send you all the details on how you’ll track your miles once registered.
