Let's Talk Gynaecological (Gynae) Cancers-image

Cancers that start in the female reproductive system are called gynaecological cancers. Every year, over 19,000 new cases of gynaecological cancers are diagnosed in the UK.

Despite being among the top 10 most common cancers among women in the UK, many people aren’t aware of what to look out for. Join us for our latest webinar to learn about these all-important signs and symptoms.

Dr Neil Ryan, trainee in gynaecology oncology will speak with Wellbeing of Women Chair, Dame Lesley Regan, about the most common symptoms of the five gynaecological cancers: cervical; ovarian; vulval; vaginal; and womb cancer. They will be joined by Sbba Siddique who will share her experience of navigating a gynaecological cancer diagnosis. They will discuss the following:

· What are the gynaecological cancers?

· Who is at risk of these cancers?

· What are the symptoms?

· Are there screening programs for any of these cancers?

· Diagnosis and treatment
