The menopause usually happens between the ages of 45 and 55. For some women, it can happen earlier.
Symptoms of menopause like anxiety, brain fog and muscle pain can have a huge impact on quality of life.
To mark World Menopause Day, Dr Naomi Potter and Lavina Mehta MBE will discuss living well with the menopause with our chair, Professor Dame Lesley Regan. They will be joined by Lucy Jones who will share practical advice for eating well during this life stage.
Lavina will share her own story of managing her perimenopause symptoms.
Our panellists will discuss the following:
· Medical treatments for managing menopause symptoms
· Practical advice for exercising during the menopause
· Eating well/nutritional advice for the menopause
