Natasha Still

Natasha's story

Natasha Still started to experience pain, abnormal bleeding and stress incontinence just before her 30th birthday.

“I was working a busy job and trying to maintain a relatively normal life, but it was stressful, embarrassing and uncomfortable. I spent time walking and talking with my sister, family and friends. Walking provided me with a routine and time to process some of the challenges I was facing with my health.

“Over a year later, I was diagnosed with deep infiltrating endometriosis and a urethral diverticulum, where a pouch forms on the wall of the urethra that can fill with urine, leading to infections.

“I created a walking weekend called The Walking Women to raise money for Wellbeing of Women while having fun and talking about our health. We aimed to walk 1,000 miles over 3 days and raise £1,000. But with the help of lots of family and friends, 50 men and women across the UK walked 1,198 miles in 3 days. We raised an incredible £4,645!”
