Wellbeing of Women Northern Ireland hosted a Winter Wonderland gala on Friday, raising important funds towards women’s health research.

On 31st January two hundred and forty guests arrived by coach at the lavish Larchfield Estate, County Antrim, which had been transformed into a wintry paradise with Christmas trees, tea lights and storm lanterns.

On arrival, attendees were serenaded by musicians on the piano and saxophone as they enjoyed a complimentary drinks reception.

Guests afterwards sat down to a sumptuous five-course dinner provided by caterers, Old Barn, fine Italian wines and prosecco.

A surprise gift – generously donated by local supporters – also awaited one lucky winner on each table.

In the silent auction that followed one successful bidder opened their prize of a beautiful pair of diamond earrings, which was gifted by Lunn’s Jewellers in Belfast and presented in a treasure chest.

After dinner, guests danced the night away to music by DJ Jack and local saxophonist Robert Wilson before being whisked away in carriages in the early hours.

The evening was hosted by long-time Wellbeing of Women Northern Ireland supporter and friend, Alison Fleming.

The Northern Ireland branch of Wellbeing of Women would love to thank everyone who came, their generous local supporters and the fantastic team at Larchfield Estate for a wonderful evening.
