Your hormones control and regulate every key process in your body including sleep, energy levels, mood, sexual function and reproduction.
As part of the Hormonall campaign, we have co-created four e-learning modules in partnership with Vichy, focusing on puberty, the menstrual cycle, the postnatal period and the menopause.
To launch the modules, our Chair, Professor Dame Lesley Regan will be joined by an expert panel to discuss how hormone fluctuations can impact us at different stages of our lives.
Panellists will include Dr Aziza Sesay, GP, founder of Talks with Dr Sesay and Wellbeing of Women ambassador.
Joyce Harper, Professor of Reproductive Science at University College London, Institute of Women’s Health, educator and author will also be part of the conversation, alongside Dr Channa Jayasena, an internationally recognised expert in reproductive endocrinology.
They will cover several aspects such as:
· What are the female reproductive hormones?
· What can cause changes in these?
· How do these changes impact women during different stages such as puberty, pregnancy and postpartum and the menopause?
· How having the right information can empower us through these changes
Have a question for one of our speakers? Email events@wellbeingofwomen.org.uk before the event. For this webinar, we will also give you plenty of time to have your questions answered by our panellists.
