Challenge Event Terms and Conditions
Registration fee
Cancellation by you: Should you, for whatever reason, make the decision to not take your place in the Challenge, your registration fee will not be refunded. However, if you cannot take part due to a reason such as injury, you may be able to transfer your place in the Challenge. Please contact us to discuss and we can advise if there is an alternative event you can take part it in or transfer your place to the same event for the following year.
Cancellation or changes made by the Challenge Organiser: We have no control over the Challenge. The Challenge Organiser may need to make changes to, postpone, or cancel the Challenge due to an event outside their control. Please see the Challenge Organiser's Terms and Conditions for more information. If this happens, we will contact you as soon as possible to let you know. If the Challenge is cancelled or there is a risk of substantial postponement, we will ask if you would like to transfer your registration to a different challenge event. If you do not wish to do so, you may contact us to cancel the contract and request a refund of your registration fee.
Fundraising targets
If you are a charity place participant, you commit to raising the minimum sponsorship for Wellbeing of Women for the event you have registered for. If you do not meet the minimum sponsorship, you may choose to make up the balance yourself, or you could lose the chance to take part in an event for Wellbeing of Women in the future.
You must aim to have raised a minimum of 30% of your fundraising target 2 months before the date of your event. For the London Marathon you must aim to have raised 50% of your fundraising target 2 months before the date of your event. If you have not achieved this Wellbeing of Women reserve the right to withdraw your offer of a place. All fundraising up to that point will be refunded. Your registration fee will not be refunded. As part of your fundraising journey we will give you tips and advice on setting up your fundraising page, getting donations and fundraising ideas. A member of our Community Team will also be available if you have any questions or concerns and can set-up a call to discuss fundraising with you.
You agree to raise all money using legal methods and complying with the advice given in the fundraising pack and on our website.
If you do not take part in the event and have not let us know at least one week in advance any sponsorship money raised will be treated as donations unless your sponsors, contact community@wellbeingofwomen.org.uk directly for a refund.

You confirm that, to the best of your knowledge, your general state of health and fitness is good, and you take full responsibility for your training. You take part in this event at your own risk. Please always follow good practice and advice when training and taking on a challenge. We also reserve the right to withdraw your place if we feel the challenge would be harmful to your health.
