Over the last three decades, our annual Celebrity Cricket Day in Oxfordshire has raised almost £8.5m for our vital work across women’s health.

The match is a key summer event, bringing together so many fantastic cricketers and supporters from across the country.

Legends from the cricket world taking part on the day include Mike Atherton, Brian Lara, Wasim Akram, Charlotte Edwards, Georgia Adams, Ian Bell and Mark Nicholas.

This year, as we came together on Sunday 19 June, we remembered so fondly Shane Warne, our dear friend and great supporter of this special event.

In honour of Shane’s memory, and his support to our charity, we are proud to announce The Wellbeing of Women Shane Warne Memorial Fund.

Contributions to this new fund will support our research in Shane’s name, as well as help to fund our education and advocacy work around women’s health.

Your contribution will make a difference for women’s health, from period problems to fertility issues, and menopause to gynaecological cancers.

Funds raised at the Wellbeing of Women Celebrity Cricket Match in 2021 contributed towards research carried out by Professor Marian Knight at the University of Oxford which showed the importance of pregnant women having the Covid-19 vaccination. The research fed into national recommendations published by the Government. Read more here.
