Wellbeing of Women partners with skincare brand Vichy Laboratoires to launch Hormonall, a free online learning portal about women’s hormonal health

Wellbeing of Women and Vichy Laboratoires have launched Hormonall to support and empower women at every stage of life.

Wellbeing of Women has launched Hormonall: Together for Women’s Wellbeing alongside Vichy Laboratoires, to inform and empower girls and women about their hormonal health at every stage of life. The four free modules – puberty, menstrual cycles, postpartum, and menopause – provide accurate, science-backed, and easily accessible information about hormonal health and changes.

Research by Vichy Laboratoires, including a global KANTAR study of over 2,000 women in countries around the world, revealed that two out of three struggle in silence with the mental and physical effects of hormonal changes, feeling misunderstood, unsupported, or uninformed due to a lack of open conversation and education on hormonal health. Women share these feelings regardless of age, background, or country.

Healthcare specialists, gynaecologists, and researchers from the charity Wellbeing of Women provided scientific expertise to build the four expert-led training modules on puberty, menstrual cycles, postpartum, and menopause, so that everyone can feel well-informed about hormonal wellbeing while changing the way that society sees hormonal changes.

Vichy Laboratoires will also invest in a Wellbeing of Women Postdoctoral Research Fellowship of up to £30,000 for research focused on hormonal health and wellbeing during puberty, the menstrual cycle, postpartum and menopause.

Janet Lindsay, CEO of Wellbeing of Women said: “We are excited about our partnership with Vichy Laboratoires to help women understand more about their hormonal health with the launch of the education platform Hormonall, as well as funding a Postdoctoral Research Fellowship for every year of our partnership to nurture the next generation of women’s health researchers.

For far too long, women's hormonal health has been neglected, leaving millions to struggle in silence. At Wellbeing of Women, we are committed to changing this through advocacy, research, and education. With Hormonall, we've co-created a user-friendly online resource that encourages open conversations and delivers accessible education—empowering women to navigate every stage of life with confidence.”

Chani Schreibhand, who experienced difficult symptoms when going through the menopause said: ‘Going through this course gave me hope that no one need have my menopause journey experience. When I first went through the menopause, I had no knowledge of what to expect beyond some basic knowledge about hot flushes. I was completely blindsided after experiencing the symptoms of medically induced menopause overnight, I remember thinking I will never be the same again. The course clarifies so much of the jargon, I now feel that women have a chance of understanding this stage of life.

Olivier Maschi, Global Sustainability and Brand Cause director Vichy Laboratoires, said: "Vichy Laboratoires is thrilled to partner with Wellbeing of Women on Hormonall, a groundbreaking initiative dedicated to women's hormonal wellbeing. This program reflects our deep commitment to supporting women throughout every life stage, going beyond skincare to address the broader impact of hormonal changes on their overall health and wellbeing. The Hormonall platform embodies our dedication to empowering women with knowledge, fostering open conversations and ultimately helping them thrive. We're particularly proud to fund a Postdoctoral Research Fellowship from Wellbeing of Women, investing in the future of women's health research and reinforcing our dedication to evidence-based solutions. We believe Hormonall will make a real difference in the lives of women, and we invite everyone to join this important movement."

The program initially launched across Europe and Canada, has already welcomed over 120,000 users to the platform and trained more than 9,000 beneficiaries.
