Sign the Menopause Workplace Pledge

Almost 900,000 women in the UK have quit their jobs due to the menopause. Make a difference by signing up to the Menopause Workplace Pledge and commit to making your organisation a supportive and understanding place for employees going through the menopause.

If people affected by menopause feel supported at work, it can help to increase staff retention, reduce recruitment costs, improve productivity, happiness and wellbeing, and ensure a more diverse workforce.

Supporting staff through menopause

In signing the Menopause Workplace Pledge, you commit to:

  • Recognising that the menopause can be an issue in the workplace and women need support
  • Talking openly, positively and respectfully about the menopause
  • Actively supporting and informing your employees affected by the menopause

The Countess of Wessex - Roundtable event

Our Royal Patron HRH The Countess of Wessex talked about the "tragic" impact that menopause can have on women and the need for greater support during a roundtable event to launch the campaign. Watch the video of the roundtable event which included business leaders, politicians, celebrities, and of course, women.
