EMP In-Person Networking Event followed by the Walk & Talk-image

Join us for a special in‑person EMP member event, followed by taking part in the Walk & Talk, Wellbeing of Women’s very own fundraising challenge. Together, these events offer a unique opportunity to connect with fellow members, meet the wider Wellbeing of Women team, enjoy a meaningful day out, and support life‑changing work in women’s health.

EMP In-Person Networking Event

Our summer get‑together brings the EMP community together to share insights, celebrate progress, and explore practical strategies for advancing women’s health at work.

These ineractive sessions will help you:

  • Build connections with fellow EMP members
  • Share experiences and practical approaches across sectors
  • Contribute your voice to the future direction of the EMP

We’ll begin with refreshments and networking, followed by a programme of expert insights and discussion starting at 10:00am. The event concludes with lunch before we continue the day outdoors for the Walk & Talk.

Please register all staff attending on behalf of your organisation (maximum 2 people). For additional places, contact us at [email protected].

Walk & Talk

Following the EMP event, members are invited to join Walk & Talk - a 10K group walk and fundraising challenge designed to spark open conversations about women’s health while raising funds for vital research and advocacy.

This year, the Walk & Talk offers EMP members an extended opportunity to:

  • Connect with one another in a relaxed, outdoor setting
  • Spend time with the wider Wellbeing of Women team
  • Support the charity’s mission to improve women’s health for everyone
  • Take part in a recognised national challenge as a community

Walking side by side creates a supportive environment where conversations flow more easily, helping break down stigma, build trust, and strengthen relationships.

What to Expect:

  • Start/Finish: Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RCOG), London Bridge
  • Route: A 10K walk highlighting key moments in the history of women’s health and rights

Fundraising:

  • Individuals: £15 registration + £100 fundraising target
  • Teams: If you’d like additional colleagues to join the Walk & Talk –even if they are not attending the EMP event– we can help you coordinate a dedicated team. Corporate groups can register for £100 for up to 10 participants, with a £1,500 fundraising target for the group.
