Excessive nausea and vomiting during pregnancy is known as hyperemesis gravidarum (HG). It can have a distressing impact on pregnant women, and lead to dehydration and significant weight loss. Women with this condition may need treatment in hospital.

Hyperemesis gravidarum affects 1 to 3 in 100 pregnant women. In severe cases, vomiting can last up to 20 weeks of pregnancy. For some women, it can last until the end of pregnancy.

Join our webinar which will explore patient experiences, and provide you with advice on options for treatment, support and self-care.

Wellbeing of Women Chair, Professor Dame Lesley Regan will host this webinar. You will hear from top experts and women with experiences of hyperemesis gravidarum.
