For our third ‘Let’s Talk Periods’ webinar, we will be exploring endometriosis, a condition where tissue similar to the lining of the womb starts to grow in other places, such as the ovaries and fallopian tubes.

Endometriosis is the second most common gynaecological condition in the UK and affects 176 million women worldwide. It can affect women of any age, but can have a significant impact on quality of life. Some women may struggle to get pregnant.

Leading expert on endometriosis and pelvic pain Professor Andrew Horne joins Chair Professor Dame Lesley Regan to discuss the symptoms, diagnosis and treatment options, as well as his research into the first potential non-hormonal, non-surgical treatment for endometriosis, which has been funded by Wellbeing of Women.

It takes an average of eight years to diagnose endometriosis. With no known cure, there are treatments available to help manage symptoms. This webinar is a chance to hear from the experts and have your questions answered.

Email [email protected] before the event and our speakers will do their best to answer your questions during the webinar.
