Generously hosted by Rathbones, The Well Connected is held in connection with Wellbeing of Women’s City Christmas Fair.
Set in the heart of the City, this evening brings together young professionals for drinks, canapés, and meaningful conversation around women’s health. Expect inspiring speakers, new connections, and the chance to hear about pioneering research that’s transforming lives.
Because when we get health right for women, everybody benefits—from families and workplaces to entire communities.
Drinks and canapes will be served from 18:00 and the speakers will begin at 18:30.
City Christmas Fair
For over 23 years, the City Christmas Fair, led by an incredibly hard working and dedicated committee, has been a highlight of the festive season. Held in the magnificent Drapers’ Hall, the event offers a day of luxurious shopping and seasonal cheer with over 50 stalls selling everything from jewellery to luxury food.
Since inception, the fair has raised over £1.1m for Wellbeing of Women. These funds have enabled groundbreaking research and vital education and advocacy work that is transforming the future of women’s health.
This year’s fair will be held at Drapers’ Hall on Monday 1st of December 2025.
Wellbeing of Women
Wellbeing of Women is the UK’s only charity dedicated to improving women’s gynaecological and reproductive health across every stage of life. For over 60 years, we’ve worked tirelessly to transform the future of women’s health through pioneering research, education, and advocacy.
Thanks to our dedicated supporters, Wellbeing of Women has driven breakthroughs that have improved the health of millions of women worldwide. From pioneering the use of ultrasound in pregnancy to contributing to the development of the HPV vaccine, our research has led to innovations that are now standard practice. Thousands of babies’ lives are saved each year thanks to treatments first made possible by our work.
Yet, despite this progress, women’s health remains critically underfunded and too often overlooked. Shockingly, only 2.4% of public research funding is allocated to gynaecological and reproductive health. As a result, many women continue to suffer with unmet needs and untreated symptoms.
It is only by coming together—through events like the City Christmas Fair and the support of people like you—that we can create meaningful, lasting change.
