We invite you to pay tribute to mothers everywhere by sharing a vision of motherhood
Join our Mother’s Day campaign This Is A Mother on Sunday 14th March to celebrate extraordinary mothers and all aspects of motherhood.
We want all of our supporters to celebrate Mother’s Day by sharing a photo that depicts what motherhood means to them tagging @WellbeingofWomen and using the hashtag #ThisIsAMother.
It’s very simple:1. Share a photo of an extraordinary mother on your Instagram stories and tag @wellbeingofwomen and #ThisIsAMother
2. Text THISISAMOTHER to 70085 to donate £5 (or you can use the ‘donate’ link on Instagram in your story)
3. Nominate five friends to do the same
Wellbeing of Women invests in vital research to help more women become mothers. From fertility, to pregnancy complications, to improving the experience of pregnancy and childbirth, we are funding some incredible research:
- We are funding Prof. Molly Stevens and her team to develop a bio-engineered gel to prevent scarring of the womb following infection or surgery, helping to regenerate healthy tissue to prevent infertility and miscarriage, read more here.
- We are funding Dr Heather Garthwaite to improve outcomes for women going through fertility treatment, read more here.
- We are funding Dr Emily Cornish to better understand and therefore treat women who suffer a rare complication that can cause multiple miscarriage and pregnancy loss, read more here.
