The Diamond Dinner

Help celebrate Wellbeing of Women at 60. We look forward to welcoming you to the beautiful Corinthia London for a fantastic evening of celebration.

On arrival, guests will enjoy a Champagne reception in the Courtroom before being seated in the elegant Ballroom for a delicious three course meal. Wellbeing of Women Ambassador Davina McCall will lead the proceedings for the evening.

She will introduce our fantastic speakers including Wellbeing of Women’s Chair, and Women’s Health Ambassador to England, Professor Dame Lesley Regan.

You will also be given the opportunity to give a birthday gift to Wellbeing of Women by taking part in our raffle, bidding on exclusive items in our luxury auction, and pledging to fund a researcher. With your support, we are hoping to raise vital funds for Wellbeing of Women.

60 years of Wellbeing of Women

Over the past six decades, Wellbeing of Women has invested over £75 million in hundreds of pioneering medical research projects focused on women’s health and wellbeing. We have celebrated incredible breakthroughs which have led to changes in treatment and improved care and outcomes for millions of women in the UK and around the world.

For example, today we take ultrasound screening of pregnant women and the HPV vaccine for granted, but these treatments are the result of research championed and funded by Wellbeing of Women.

As we mark 60 years, we would like to celebrate these achievements but also look to the future and what more needs to be done to improve knowledge, treatments and access to care.

Support the future of women’s health

Women’s health research is still woefully underfunded and millions of women’s daily lives are made miserable because of undiagnosed or untreated conditions as they struggle to get the right information, to book routine appointments, and to get their basic needs met.

With your support, Wellbeing of Women can change this legacy, transforming the future of women’s health whilst changing lives today through research, education and advocacy.

By supporting the Diamond Dinner, you will enable the launch of the Wellbeing of Women 60th Anniversary Fund. This fund will invest in groundbreaking high quality research projects and support education and advocacy campaigns. Your donation will lead to improved treatment, care and support for millions of women.

You can make a difference to women who may be struggling with infertility, coping with heavy periods, experiencing the heartbreak of miscarriage or feeling devastated by a cancer diagnosis.
