The festive season is almost upon us and that means the City Christmas Fair is coming soon, the perfect way to kick off Christmas.

Continuing a successful history spanning over 20 years, this year’s fair will be opened by The Lady Mayoress at 11am on Monday 4 December at Drapers’ Hall. With more than 50 stalls ranging from festive food to jewellery, from clothes to toys, and a fabulous raffle and auction, the City Christmas Fair has something for everyone.

In the sprit of Christmas giving, the Fair also gives back. Contributions from ticket sales, and raffle and auction proceeds all go towards Wellbeing of Women, and support from previous years has played a part in key breakthroughs including pioneering new treatments for gynaecological cancers.

Janet Lindsay, Chief Executive of Wellbeing of Women said, “The City Christmas Fair has been running for over 20 years and supporting our vital work to save and change the lives of women, girls and babies. Combining luxury shopping with a spectacular setting, the fair brings a little bit of magic to the festive season. It’s a chance to pick up unique gifts for loved ones in your life, whilst contributing to an important cause.

“Last year we achieved a major milestone, a cumulative £1,000,000 raised through the partnership. We are incredibly grateful to the team involved and all of the attendees for their ongoing support. We’re thrilled to be back at Drapers’ Hall this year and hope to make it the most dazzling one yet”.

Alongside the in-person event, the City Christmas Fair is running a silent auction and luxury raffle for those seeking an extra-special stocking filler.

The City Christmas Fair is being held on Monday 4 December at Draper’s arms between 11am and 8pm. Tickets are £10 and can be purchased online.
